Q. Can your Copper Saddles be used in pipelines under pressure?
A. The Copper Saddles are designed to make branches in pressurized copper pipelines up to 300 psi. Since they are so fast and easy to use, many of our customers use them in non-pressurized lines as well.
Q. Can Harry’s Hot Tapper be used to make a tap in black pipe?
A. Harry’s Hot Tapper makes branch connections in nearly all modern pipelines including steel, black pipe, pvc and copper.
Q. Can I make a hot tap in a steam line with Harry’s Hot Tapper?
A. Harry’s Hot Tapper can be used in a steam line up to 125 lbs.
Q. I need to make a tap and the 24” shaft is too short. Can you help me?
A. We manufacture a 30” shaft that is just like the 24” shaft and is interchangeable with the sealing unit.
Q. Can Harry’s Hot Tapper be used to make a tap into a gas line?
A. Harry’s Hot Tapper is rated for connections in natural gas lines in low pressure under well ventilated conditions. We recommend the use of an air drill.

Q. What size sensors can used in the Hot-Tap-A-Well?
A. The Hot-Tap-A-Well is designed for temperatures sensors ½” and smaller. A wide variety of sensors can be inserted into pipelines under pressure with the Hot-Tap-A-Well.
Q. What does the coupon retainer do?
A. It is used to keep the slug or coupon cut by the hole saw from going down the line.
